BlackJack Teacher +HD App Reviews

This is a solid application for anyone truly wishing to perfect their skills at Blackjack. A few changes would make this application even better, in my opinion: 1. Slightly better graphics (see 21 Pro) 2. An *option* to save stats when you exit the application (such as your longest streak). 3. Less obnoxious sound effects - The sound effect when you get one wrong is very annoying. Although it does provide an incentive to get the right answer - kind of like those psychological tests where they shock patients until they exhibit the desired behaviour. 4. A card counting trainer - although that may be a separate application entirely.

This is good if you wish to beat the dealer after only 2 weeks of use. It look a bit complicated at first but when you notice how this work its a nice app. Alternate this and 21 pro (sponsored) one hour per days an you will be able to beat the dealer in 2 weeks!

I would only suggest a nicer interface and app icon But good strategy help!

Good to practice playing blackjack

Yea this is awesome for people that like Blackjack, its nice and works great and best of all its Free download if ur a Blackjack Fan or player

very nice program. easy to use. the basic strategy card provided makes it easy to check against ones mistakes. 1 software problem--when surrender is switched off ( I am playing AC rules) 15 against 10 and 16 against 9,10, Ace does not accept hitting as the correct play-- i double checked with the card to see what i was doing wrong in these instances before i realized it was the program itself. Nit-pick point-- the last time i was in AC the tables played 8 decks on the main floor and 6 in the high stakes area-- not the 4 decks listed in the LV/AC difference section.

The card appears to be correct but while playing I had 16 and the dealer had a 10 and it told me the to stand is the correct play?!? That is a HUGE flaw!! I checked this twice!

This app is easier to use then the pay apps.

I quite like this app, but I thought I should point out that - "BJ" Teacher - is a very poor choice for the abbreviated title of the app...

Decent program that teaches blackjack basics. The developer may want to edit the app title for something without a double meaning.

Concept is outstanding...but your not following the rules in all cases?

Its a surrender or a hit, never a stand. Fix this and it will be a useful app for anyone that wants to learn and master basic strategy.

As others have noted, there are a few flaws, but Im sure these will be easily and quickly fixed. Well done!

This is really a great app to be practicing BJ with. There are a couple of minor bugs that need to be fixed but other than that, I highly recomend this app if u ever plan on playing BJ.

Yeah....um....self explanitory

Really needs to quiz entire hands as opposed to a flash card coach. Also card counting quizzing would be rad as hell too.

Im not leaving BJ Teacher on my phone.

Version 1.1 is still buggy. With a 10 and a 6 vs. a 10, the card says Hit but the app says Stand.

It should cost like $20 at least. Im tired of developers giving away apps for free. Start being greedy.

The recent software update corrected the flaws and as far as I can tell so far the program works perfectly now! I have upgraded my review to 5 stars. This program is a must have if you want to prefect your basic strategy to play blackjack according to the best odds! I like this program much better than then $0.99 BlackJack Trainer. This is a great tool to brush up on your basic strategy on your flight to vegas. The included strategy cards are a great tool to have on your phone for reference when you are playing. Some suggestions for the future would be to include training for card counting. Also it would be nice to select the trainer to only deal hands where a difficult decision needs to be made such as splitting or doubling down. I am sure this would take a lot of work but it would be nice to see.
